Spiced Nuts (Sweet and Spicy Almonds)
Spiced Nuts
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1½ cups raw almonds unblanched
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp coconut sugar or light brown sugar
- 1 tsp pul biber or Aleppo pepper
- ½ tsp hot smoked paprika
- ¾ tsp fine sea salt
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350F.
- In a medium-sized bowl, add olive oil, sugar, pul biber, paprika, and salt. Mix to combine. Tip in almonds and toss well, till coated evenly.
- Spread almonds in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in the middle rack of the oven for 7-9 minutes, until fragrant.
- Allow to cool before enjoying.
