Wordless Wednesday- Our Breakfast in Istanbul

An array of Turkish cheeses, fresh plump tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, an assortment of olives, sucuk (lamb sausage), tomatoes grilled with Turkish cheese, fresh thick yoghurt topped with a fruit coulis. A perfect breakfast in Istanbul with my husband.

ps thanks for the lovely comment on the fortune cookies.

  2. I just happened to come across your blog. I’m gripped by the sentimental autobiographic stories you’re telling for the past hour. I’m thrilled to find another blogger who loves hawker/street-style food as much as I do. I can’t wait to try out a few recipes that have caught my eye.

  3. I used to love having my brekky on the rooftop of our hotel in Sultan Ahmet overlooking the Blue Mosque on one side and the Bosphorus on the other…{aaah..dreaming again} 🙂

  5. Istanbul does rock – the Green Cafe and Cisterns were terrific. I am so going back there- met marvelous people and fabulous food – loved the Bospherous tour and the Spice Market – was lucky enough to have a guided tour through the Old Souk and exchanged money -what a wonderful experience.
