  1. WOW! Shayma, this is so marvellous. It’s such a tremendous piece. Well done you. Your meal in Tuscany is so evocative – I can almost taste the freshness of the tomatoes and smell the basil: one of my most memorable meals is, of course, when you came round and conjured up from a few very basic ingredients the most magnificent feast – I am always chasing the taste of the tarka dhal, and I can never find anything as good, anywhere. xxx

  2. I was just turning the pages and when I saw your picture I realized hey this is the girl from The Spice Spoon blog 🙂 It was a great interview!

  3. Congratulations, Shayma! What a fantastic interview. You have a way of describing food that made the words almost jumped out of the pages. I love that you prefer home cooked restaurants because that’s what I do whether I’m traveling or discovering new eateries. I love to poke around until I find a hole in the wall with horrible decor but cramped with locals.

  4. You have such a lovely blog. I had been looking for Pakistani food blogs, and I was happy to stumble upon such a fun one to read. Looking forward to what the Spice Spoon will make this autumn. I have to make those Spiced Glazed Carrots!

  5. I like what you guys are usually up too.

I’ve incorporated you guys to my own blogroll.
